Welcome to KRIA, a literary initiative that aims to empower underprivileged students through the power of writing. Our mission is to support the vision of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and promote literacy, education, and personal growth among young people.

Through our fellowship, we provide training and mentorship opportunities to student authors, encouraging them to write books that reflect their experiences, aspirations and ideas. We believe that writing is a powerful tool for self-expression, personal development, and social change.

Our campaign is based on the principle of equal opportunities for education, and we believe that every student should have access to the resources and support they need to pursue their writing goals.

WHY KRIA FELLOWSHIP?

What Is KRIA

KRIA is an exceptional opportunity for you to develop your writing skills and unleash your creativity. Our campaign is designed to promote literacy,
education and personal growth among underprivileged children with the vision of Dr. Abdul Kalam. We are providing mentorship opportunity and CO-Authorship by Mr Srijan Pal Singh (Founder and CEO, Kalam Centre) to encourage student authors to write books that reflect their perspectives, goals, and aspirations. Our program is distinct from others as it is exclusively focused on underprivileged students and provides them with an equal chance to learn and grow through education.

What is there in it for You

The fellowship offers a range of benefits for student authors. Selected students will be recognised as Authors and sign the Books which will be handed over to the Underprivileged students. All the expenses related to the production of their book will be taken cared by us. Students will also be paired with a mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the writing process. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to have their books published and promoted through our online platform and events.

Who can Apply

The fellowship program is open to all the students who are currently enrolled in high school or college. To be eligible, applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25.

After the successful completion of the fellowship program, all outstanding participants will be recognized with the title of Kalam Chakra Fellow along with an endorsement of their respective works.

Each fellow will also be a part of the esteemed cohort of young leaders from various walks of life who can work with each other towards realizing the dream of Dr. Kalam for an Economic Superpower India.

Shortlisting of Synopsis

After we have reviewed your application, we may have some questions for you. Subsequently, we will invite you for a phone interview.

Training and Feedback

As the last and final step, once your application is selected it will be forwarded to the Assessment Centre for final selection.
